Bildungsgutschein
Our courses can be completely free of charge for you, as they can be financed through the Bildungsgutschein (education voucher) of the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter. Some of our courses are also supported by the Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS). In order to receive funding, certain conditions must be met.
What is a Bildungsgutschein?
A Bildungsgutschein (BGS) is an educational voucher that you can obtain from the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter when you are registered in Germany as unemployed. It covers the full costs for your further education course at DCI and you will not have to pay back any fees after completion.
Who can receive a Bildungsgutschein?
Anyone registered and living in Germany is applicable for a Bildungsgutschein. In order to receive one, you must first be registered as unemployed at the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter. All our courses are on a full-time basis and thus it is not possible to work while studying, with the exception of a mini-job.

What conditions must be met in order to receive a Bildungsgutschein?
The training education courses at DCI can always be 100% funded with a Bildungsgutschein if you are currently not working. For this reason, you first have to make an appointment with the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter. In this meeting with your agent, various points will be discussed, such as your current vocational training and experience, your application efforts, the content of your desired training course, and your chances of finding a job after completing the course.

What is an Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS)?
Just like the Bildungsgutschein, you can also obtain an Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein (AVGS) from the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter. Unlike the Bildungsgutschein, the AVGS is first used to orientate you on the job market and does not have the direct aim of finding employment at the end of the course. Therefore, our Orientation Course and Job Coaching for digital careers are funded with an AVGS.
