Financing & Bildungsgutschein (education voucher)
- If you are unemployed and registered at the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter, you can get the courses 100% financed by them via a Bildungsgutschein or a Aktivierungs- und Vermittlungsgutschein. They are then free of charge for you.
- If the first option does not apply to you, our partner Chancen eG can help you with the financing. If you find a permanent job after completing the course, you can pay back the fees in small instalments.
- You can also finance our courses completely independently as a self-payer – either by paying immediately or in instalments.
Please contact our education consultants for further information!
To receive a Bildungsgutschein, you must be unemployed or soon to be unemployed and register with the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter. They will check whether you meet all the necessary requirements.
You can find more information on our page about the Bildungsgutschein.
The Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter usually supports people who are between 25 and 60 years old. However, there are exceptions. For example, our youngest course participant was 22, our oldest participant 61.
After you have registered as a jobseeker with the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter, you will receive a PIN with which your account can be activated. Our education consultants will then support you in applying for the Bildungsgutschein (education voucher).

When you graduate from one of our courses, you are qualified to work in the tech industry. Most of our graduates start their first job in tech in a junior position with a starting salary between 34,000 and 43,000 euros per year.
In contrast to courses at universities, which are usually very theoretically focused, we place great emphasis on project work and practical applications. In this way, we create the best conditions for our students for their later employment. Our curriculum is also developed in cooperation with companies, so the content is relevant and tailored to the labour market. Our ultimate goal is successful placement in employment.
After successfully completing a course at the DCI, you will receive a certificate of participation that shows the contents, the duration of the further training and the internship completed. This is a so-called certificate of further education (Weiterbildungszertifikat) according to §81 SGB III, which was checked and approved as part of the approval of the further education. It serves you for application purposes and is recognised by all German companies.
Our job placement rate is higher than that of comparable training providers. With the support of our Career Success Service, you have a team of application experts and career coaches at your side to help you find a secure and well-paid job. Furthermore, our partner network of over 600 companies will make it much easier for you to find an internship or your first job in tech!
