Our campuses are running their courses 100% remotely in response to COVID-19.

What are the financing options for the course?

There are three payment models for our course:

  1. If you are unemployed and registered at the Agentur für Arbeit or Jobcenter, you can get the course 100% financed by them via an education voucher.
  2. If option 1 doesn’t apply to you, you can cooperate with our partner Chancen eG. They will pay your fees for the course and if you find a job after successful completion of the course, you pay them back in small rates.
  3. There also is the option for self payment.

Please contact our education councils for further information.

How good does my language level need to be to join a course?

Ideally you speak German or English on a B1 level. However, we don’t strictly require you to be able to show a language certificate, we simply want you to be able to follow the lessons. We offer German and English language classes as part of our courses to further improve your language skills.

Our AWS re/Start Cloud Administration course has a duration of 3 months.

Are there part time courses for students, mothers or full time employees?

Unfortunately, we are not offering part time courses at the moment. However, this will change within the next few months. Feel free to sign up to our Newsletter to be amongst the first people to find out when part time courses are available.

I don’t live in one of the four locations. Can I do a course fully online?

Yes, we have recently started to offer fully remote online courses for all of Germany. So no matter where in Germany you live, feel free to apply.

When do the new courses start?

The orientation course kicks-off every two weeks. Web Development starts every 4 weeks and Online Marketing in regular intervals of 6-8 weeks. How many teachers are responsible for a single class?

It is usually 1-2 teachers who are responsible for one class.

Why is the course an entire year long?

Our courses have a very detailed curriculum which is adapted to the requirements of the job market. In addition to that, we also assign a lot of time to project work, the creation of an individual portfolio and at the end of the course, there is a two month long internship which will help you gain practical experience. All of this should increase your chances of finding a good job. It is our goal to prepare as best as we can for your digital career.

Which languages are the courses taught in?

Most of our courses are taught in English however, we also offer each course in German. Which language you choose depends on your personal preferences and language skills.

Is it possible to only join selected modules of each course?

No, that is not possible. If you join a course, you should participate in every module.

Do I have to look for the integrated work placement myself?

No, we have a dedicated career success team who will actively support you in finding the right placement for you. In addition you will benefit from the large company network we have established at DCI.

Which career options do I have after completing a course?

The certificate you receive after successful completion of a course, qualifies you to work in a digital company. This applies to Online Marketing and Web Development. When you finish the AWS re/Start Cloud Administration course, you will acquire an international authorized certificate.

What kind of certificate do I receive at the end of a course?

After successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate which certifies the content and duration of the further education measure as well as the completed internship. The certificate is a so-called further education certificate according to §81, which was checked and approved within the scope of the approval of the further education. The certificate serves you for application purposes and is recognized by companies.

How good is the certificate compared to a university degree?

Compared to universities, which are usually very focused on theory, our courses are much more practical, as practical skills are really important in future jobs. Our curriculum is created with companies from the industry which means our content is highly relevant and very well adapted to the current job market. Our goal is to help you get your dream job.

What happens when I receive a job offer during the course?

Our goal is to successfully place all participants in a job. Therefore we support you if you find a job during the course and in this case we make it possible to leave the course early. How exactly this happens has to be clarified in each individual case.
